Abstract

For planning telecommunication network for the next few years to improve the quality of service it’s necessary to forecast the number of telephone subscriber using linier regression method,besides it’s done traffic estimates forecasting using point to point forecast method to calculate an estimate of the total traffic by not dividing subscriber into categories. While network analysis used parameter Answer of Ratio (ASR), Seizure per Circuit per Hour (SCH), Mean Holding Time per Seizure (MHTS), Occupancy Rate (OCC), Maintance Block (MB) and Grade of Service (GOS).Data which used in forecasting are data amount telephone subscriber for last 10 years and the last data traffic on central EWSD 62 KTUA.For the result telephone subscriber and traffic forecasting estimates are expected each year will rise linierly. In the analysis of network parameters the highest value of ASR is 57 % in April, the highest value of SCH is 4.06 call/circuit in March, the highest value of MHTS is 1.67 minute/call in January, the highest value of OCC is 6.72% in January, the highest value of MB is 18.86% in May. While the value of GOS for performance central and circuit is very large, that is the central or circuit performance is very low.
