Regional Post Office III of Palembang is one of eleven regional offices that function as a manager of PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) for the southern part of Sumatra. The purpose of the development of news application event of the postal mail is to facilitate the controlling part of the operation system of Post Office III Regional of Palembang in processing data of news event of the postal mailing of irregularity of post office. In this application, data entered into the system include regional office data, post office checking data, employee data of the checking post office and data on the postal mailing of irregularity. This application consists of three users of the admin part of the regional office operating system control, officer and head of the post office examiner. The process contained in this application consists of login form, data processing form office checkpoint post, form data processing employee post office inspector, form data processing event irregularity postal mail, the process of evaluation and verification news events irregularity postal items, form irregularity postal posts from other post office inspector and print news reports on the event of the irregularity of postal items. From the whole process, it produces an information of regional office data, information of post office of inspector, information of employee of post office inspector and information of news data of event of irregularity of postal item. The application is web-based online and is built using the PHP Programming Language and MySQL database system.
