Abstract
This research focused on how to design “descriptions on goody bags to promote tourism objects in Palembang” written in English language.The research and development method modified by Sukmadinata (2005) was used in this research. The method consists of preliminary study, model development, and final product testing. In designing the goody bags, knowledge about tourism objects, English writing skill, and graphic design knowledge and skill were really needed. In developing the goody bags draft, the criticism and suggestions provided by experts were very valuable.
