Abstract

This research is focused on how to design a booklet of Palembang culinary written in both English and Indonesian languages. The research and development (R&D) method modified by Sukmadinata (2005) was used in this study. The method consists of preliminary study, model development and testing. In designing the booklet, knowledge about the information of Palembang culinary, English and Indonesian writting skills, and graphic design knowledge and skill were really need. In developing the booklet draft, the criticism and suggestion provided by experts were very valuable.
