Abstract

In general, the variable colour measurement is performed using LDR or phototransistor. Colors are arrange of basic colors, which one of them is for light with its constituent basic color are red, green and blue (RGB), while parameter colors has a different wavelength of light. With the development of electronics technology now we could detect or measure color based on the composer of basic colors making one of them using TCS3200 sensor. The purpose of this research is to develop a device for detecting color and nominal money based arduino uno and TCS3200 sensors that utilize current changes in proportion to the parameters of the basic colors of light that appear and then the current colour is converted into a signal box with a frequency proportional to the magnitude of the current. The test results showed that the accuracy of the instrument is functioning properly, itis based on the sensitivity of the colour sensor TCS3200 towards conversion of colour light is benefit for white, black, and colour found on cash. Moving on, comparison of the calibration and its output value will be displayed by the LCD.
