Abstract
This final report aimed designing traditional clothes of Palembang on greeting card as the promotional medium to promote traditional clothes from Palembang. In writing final report, the writer uses Research and Development “R&D” method. The “R&D” method includes 3 steps are: (1) Preliminary Field Testing, (2) The Development of Product and (3) Product Testing and Dissemination. The writer implements the steps by asking the expert opinion. Therefore, the data were collected from the interviews and observations. The writer prepared some questions about the history of traditional clothes, how the process to make a greeting card and how to design. This product is tested by close friends, lecturers and experts. The conclusion is we can use greeting card as the promotional medium to promote traditional clothes of Palembang.
