Abstract
Road construction is a very important requirement as the main supporter of economis activity both at central and regional levels. One is the area of reed Kurup – Batu Kuning because these two areas are potensial areas for agribusiness and argo-industries, in the making off final project, the writer wants to know how good planning inthe the planning and design of geometric and pavement thickness on road Kayuagung – SP1 Pedamaran Timur STA 22+200 – STA 29+532, so the path to be traversed can provide safety, comfort, and economical for road users. In the geometric design of highway planning, things are reference in planning include the calculation of horizontal alignment, vertical alingment, and define what to use pavement. From the design of highway Kayuagung – SP1 Pedamaran Timur STA 22+200 – STA 29+532 on Ogan Komering Ilir South Sumatera, the type of road is two lane without median and two-way street. The road is classified in Collector class I with the ablity to accommodate 12.228 SMP/day and speed of plan 60 km/h, with 8 corner consist of 4 full circle, and 4 spiral-cicle-spiral. For rigid pavement using pavement with quality of K-350 and 28.5 cm thickness, while concrete floor work thickness is 10 cm and subbase layer using the aggregate class A with thick layer of 15 cm, construction of road is carried out within 341 working days with a total fund of Rp 70.044.061.000,00, (Seventy Billion Fourty Four Million and Sixty one Thousand Rupiahs)
