Abstract
The tittle of this Final Report is The sales forecasting of Mitsubishi cars in PT Lautan Berlian Utama Motor Palembang located in JL. A. Yani No 17, 13 Ulu Palembang. The purpose of this research is to know the sales forecasting in 2014 and 2015 using the technique of Time Series least Square methods. The data were collected through interviews. The data have been calculated using the technique of time series least squares methods. The author found that PT Lautan Berlian Utama Motor Palembang use qualitative approach in doing forecast. Based on the analysis of data that was obtained, the results sales in 2014 the company is done will reached 3.915 units sales forecasting results conducted by the author is 1.853 units and by 2015 it’s 1.886,1 units. Based on the findings, the authors suggest PT Lautan Berlian Utama Motor using qualitative approach in doing forecast, also use same way in using quantitative approach using Time Series the Least square method in doing the sales forecasting.
