This final report is aimed to write a short story entitled “Inside Two Hearts” which has setting of some tourism destinations in Palembang. The purpose of this final report is to find out the process of writing short story which contains some tourism destinations in Palembang. In this final report, the writer used research and development method by Sukamadinata. The writer collected the data by using online observation and library research as a reference for writing a short story and as to get information about short story. The writer expects that the students of English department can be more creative and innovative in introducing tourism destinations in Palembang as well as sharpen the writing skill.
