Abstract
The goal of this research is to design booklet of Palembang Traditional Food to promote Palembang Traditional Foods available in Food Culinary Market 16 Ilir. This report is used to find How to design booklet Palembang Traditional Foods by designing booklet of Palembang Traditional Foods. The methodology of this research is Research and Development from Sukmadinata (2005). This final report modified and developed the Research and Development method into three steps: Preliminary Study, Model Development, and also Final Product Testing. The problem formulation in this report was formulated into a question: How to design booklet of Palembang Traditional Foods and What are the the contents that should be put in booklet. The research instruments used, first Preliminary Study: literature study, field survey, model draft. Second, model development consisted of limited testing and wider testing. Based on the finding, the writer made design booklet of Palembang Traditional Food to promote Palembang Traditional Foof available in 16 Ilir Food Culinary Market. It is concluded that the developed booklet may give knowledge and information to the readers about Palembang Traditional Foods available in Food Culinary Market 16 Ilir which will be promoted.
