Abstract

The title of this final report is “Writing a Promotional Video Script of TenunSongket Dance”. The report discusses about designing a video script which contains the information about Palembangtraditional dance, TenunSongket Dance. The purpose of this final report was to write a promotional video script of TenunSongket Dance. The method used in this final report is Research & Development (R&D) according to Sukmadinata (2005). The method had three steps; (1) Preliminary Study, (2) Model Development and (3) Final Product Testing. In Preliminary Study, the writer did preparation for developing the product. For Model Development, the writer tried several tests to the product, divided in two; Limited Testing and Wider Testing. This report produces a final draft, which was a script for the video according to Friedman (2006) idea.
