Abstract

Dalam era perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat, bisnis percetakan juga mengalami perubahan signifikan. Percetakan Halma Grafika PT. Halma Delapan Indonesia, yang berlokasi di Palembang, merupakan salah satu contoh bisnis yang menghadapi tantangan dalam sistem pemesanan dan pembayaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi sistem pemesanan dan pembayaran di Halma Grafika melalui pengembangan aplikasi e-commerce berbasis website menggunakan framework Laravel. Pada saat ini, pemesanan masih dilakukan secara manual dan pembayaran dilakukan dengan datang langsung ke lokasi percetakan. Keterbatasan ini mengakibatkan kurangnya efisiensi dalam proses pemesanan, pembayaran, serta kurangnya kemudahan bagi pelanggan untuk melihat contoh produk secara langsung. Laporan penjualan juga masih direkap dengan kurang efisien yaitu harus menginputkan data penjualan satu persatu menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Solusi yang diusulkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pengembangan aplikasi e-commerce berbasis website yang memungkinkan pelanggan untuk memesan produk tanpa harus datang langsung ke lokasi. Pembayaran akan ditingkatkan melalui metode transfer bank dan variasi opsi pembayaran lainnya. Pelanggan juga dapat melihat contoh produk secara online, membantu mereka dalam memvisualisasikan pesanan mereka. Proses rekap transaksi akan dimodernisasi dengan penyimpanan data dalam database, memungkinkan konversi langsung menjadi laporan penjualan. Dengan implementasi aplikasi e-commerce ini, diharapkan akan terjadi peningkatan efisiensi, kenyamanan, dan kualitas layanan bagi pelanggan di percetakan Halma Grafika. Perusahaan akan lebih siap menghadapi tuntutan era digital dan industri 4.0. Penelitian ini dapat menjadi langkah awal bagi perusahaan untuk beradaptasi dengan teknologi modern, meningkatkan daya saing, dan memenuhi kebutuhan pelanggan yang semakin berkembang.
