Abstract

Marketing strategy is one of the most important things to increase sales volume as well as attracting the attention of the customers. The title of this final report is marketing strategy to increase sales volume at Salon Headquarters The Hair & Beauty Bar Palembang based SWOT Analysis. The purpose of this study to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats owned by this Salon. The data collacted by interviews, questionnaires, literature studies, and data from the Salon. The techniques used by using SWOT Analysis include the external and internal environment that can be used to determine the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. In SWOT Analysis used quantitative approach and qualitative approach. This salon has employees who have good knowledge and competence in my hair care at the salon. The price offered Salon is relatively expensive, so the upper class can enjoy the salon. This is very affect the salon due to the many competitors can attract customers by using the strategy of each salon, therefore Salon must be able to make new innovations so as not to be left behind with the development of the era. The marketing strategy of this salon is using various promotions such as, social media, and service. Based on the analysis above, the tool used to compile the strategic factors of marketing is by using SWOT matrix. Matrix can produce 4 (four) sets of possible alternative strategies, namely the strategy to maintain the superiority of the Salon and create the latest trend that is only owned by the salon as the salon is well known in the eyes of its customers.
