The advancement of technology are growing rapidly and have impacted in all fields. Manually work can be replaced by automatically system with the use of automated technology so that the system can simplify and save the human’s energy. Therefore, a CNC machine was designed to assist in the layout process on PCB. In CNC machine design, used control system in the form of GRBL board consist of Arduino Nano microcontroller, and Driver Motor A4988 as stepper motor controller. This CNC machine is controlled by using GRBL software when the program is inserted into the software, stepper motor, spindle and drill bit will move. This design uses 3 stepper motors where each stepper motor used to move the X, Y and Z axis. Spindle is used as a drill controller to carve the layout on the PCB. In order to make the layout is being able to be read by the machine, the author uses the PCB-Gcode software to change the layout into Gcode contains of code that describes the connection between multiple objects. To create the G-Code, put some settings on PCB-Gcode software.
