Abstract
The purpose of this report is to know whether the Green Canyon is potential as a tourism destination in Lahat. The research methodology used in this report is the qualitative descriptive method and the data were collected by using observation and interviews. Based on the interviews and observation conducted by the writer, the result shows that the Green Canyon has the potential to be a tourism destination in Lahat because it has 3 (three) aspects of a potential tourism destination such as attractions, amenities, and accessibility. Therefore, there are two attractions, such as swim and take photos. Then, amenities are available such as hotels, restaurants, toilets, parking areas, praying areas, and traditional booth in Green Canyon area. The accessibility of Green Canyon is quite good and visitors can visit by riding transportations such as motorcycle and car.
