Abstract

This final report entitled "The design of Feasibility water Detector and automatic pouring into the glass from Dispenser". The main purpose is to build a system that can detect the feasibility of drinking water at the dispenser based on the pH levels. This device uses a microcontroller ATMega16, ultrasonic sensor, pH sensor, limit switch, water level sensor, servo motor, buzzer, LCD and CodeVision AVR program. The device work as it’s turned on then the PH sensor will check the quality of the drink water on the dispenser based on its pH levels. If the pH levels of water under 5, it’s the acid and more than 8, it’s the basa. The acid or a base water unfit to drink, then water cannot be served, a notice will appear on the LCD and the alarm will be activated. If the pH levels drinking water ranges between 5 and 8 and the water quality is good and it’s ready to pour in a glass. After the glass is detected, the servo motor will open the tap so that the glass can be filled with water. Ultrasonic Sensor reads approximately the height of water in a glass. After the glass are filled to motor servo close tap water, this process of notification will be displayed on the LCD screen. Keywords: Water pH Detection, automatic water pouring, smart dispenser.
