Abstract

ABSTRACT SENSOR RF PT2262 APLICATION AS A TRANSMITTER FOR ACTIVATION SIGN LAMPS AND BREAK LAMP ON HELMET SYAHRUL ROMADHAN Mostly traffic accidents not only cause damage to the vehicle but also lead to disability and even death to the motorists. So can be rising the number of accidents on motocycle, because that required a smart helmet can reduce the accident rate. RF sensor (radio frequency) is a component that can detect an electromagnetic wave signal used by comunication system to send an information through the air from one point to another point that goes in between the sender and receiver antenna transmitter. IC PT2262 is a remote control encoder paired with IC PT2272 work (remote control decoder) is used to transmit the signal wirelessly to the receiver simplex. IC PT2262 pins encode the data and the destination address in the form of a serial coded waveform suitable for RF modulation (radio frequency). IC PT2262 work to gives a LED indicator that will active based on signals sent by the transmitter, when the brake is pressed, the brake light will light up on the helmet and the data sent is FFFFFFFF1000, as well as the right turn signal is pressed then the right turn signal on helmets will light up then the data sent by the transmitter is FFFFFFFF0100, whereas when the left turn signal is pressed, the data sent is FFFFFFFF0010.
