Abstract

AUTOMATIC PORTAL TRAIN PROTOTYPE USING RFID YUDHA OKTAREZA Open-Close Control of portal train in Indonesia still doing manually with the help of operator. But the omission often occurs in the operator and this omission to be one of the causes of the accident. This report describes RFID as an application to opening and closing motor servo automaticly as a portal with using Microcontroller ATMega 328 . RFID is a identification method using RFID label or transponder (tag) to save and bring a data from distance. Label or transponder (tag) is a device that can be assembled or included into a product, animal, or human with purpose to identification using radio wave. Tag ID will sending data to RFID if the Tag ID has approximated and detected by RFID reader. Data in RFID will be send to Microcontroller for processing, if data has been send to Microcontroller is same with the data in Tag ID, so Microcontroller will give command for motor servo to close the portal. Then the portal will opening again automaticly after delay time for 11 seconds. Keywords : RFID, Microcontroller ATMega 328, Motor Servo.
