This final report was created with the purpose to find out the extent to which of the importance of the effectiveness of the management information system in decision-making on the PengendalianKehilangan Air (PKA) PDAMTirtaMusi Palembang. The collected data is obtained through the results of observation and interview conducted by the author with assistant manager and administrator at the PKA. The methods used in analyzing data is descriptive with analysis method is qualitative. The results showed that the management information system used at the PKA is not effective in decision-making which is done by the Assistant Manager, SIM is not too be used as a reference in decision making. This should be able to push PDAM TirtaMusi Palembang party to improve the effectiveness of the existing management information systems.
