Abstract

 DumpTruckis oneunit ofheavy equipmentthatis almostalwayscan be foundin theminingandconstructionprocess. In linewith thedevelopment of scienceandtechnologyin themodernera, a lot ofsimulationsthat have beencreated, bothin the form ofsimulationon the screenorinthe size of theprototypesimulation.  The working principleinthis unit simulationthatusesa DCelectric motoras the driving, pneumatic system as moving dump to backward, use motor servo as moving dump to left side and right side andbatteryasthe energysupplier. And this unit can performa generalmovement that existin theactualdump truck. Starting from themovementunloadandcan run. But onthis unit combines three processes thethreemovementsarerearunloaddump, left sidedump and right side dump which normally dump truck onlyhasone movementprocess. Payload capacityofthe unitthat is equal to5kgandrequiresa servo motoras the drivingreardumpandsidedumpbecause it hasa torque of10kg/cm, while the forward and backward movement of this simulation using wiper motor. The simulation consistsofseveralparts:the substructure, the upper frame, tub, and acabinthat require total processing timefor1440minutesandrequirethe production costRp 2.980.000,-The resultsof this design and build Dump Truckcan also be usedas a medium oflearningin the learning activitiesfor thestudents of Departmentof Mechanical Engineering, State Polytechnic ofSriwijaya.
