This final report is aimed in designing a Storybook of Puyang Rajo Api to Preserve the Cultures of Besemah Region. The purpose of this final report is to find out the steps in designing a story book entitled Puyang Rajo Api in order to preserve the story as one of intangible cultures from Basemah. In writing this final report, the writer used the modification of Research and Development Method from Borg and Gall (1983). Using two main steps in Research and Development Method: Research Steps and Development Steps, the modification was conducted due to the limitation of the time and money. The Research Steps consisted of: Research and Information Collection; and Interviews. After the data were collected from the Research Steps, next, the data were used to develop the product into Development Steps. The Development Steps consisted of planning, product development, testing, revision, final product, and dissemination. The results revealed that in designing the storybook, the design was created by the writer and supported by some expert’s suggestion for better final version. The writer prepared the data of the framework in designing the storybook. All collected data were inserted to the storybook and arranged into a good design to be printed as a trial printed version. It was reviewed by three experts: design, content, and language. The reviews pointed out that there were some items need to be revised. First, the design expert reviewed on the font, the pictures or icon, color and the background. Finally, the language expert corrected the grammar and the diction of the text. Having all the reviews addressed, the storybook, then, printed into a final version.
