Abstract

At this time the increase in the number of cars is not matched by the availability of parking lots. This sort of thing certainly creates special difficulties in the office and shopping areas that are usually centered on a location. As a result, if the concentration of vehicles centered on these areas will cause difficulties in finding parking and causing traffic congestion. Based on the above problem description then designed a miniature car parking terraced with automatic system. The manufacture of automatic car parking system involves various types of mechanical drive, DC motor control control circuit and limiting sensors such as limit switch. The entire core of the system is controlled by Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) with CX-Programmer version 9.0 software specialized in OMRON Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) user. To put the car in the parking slot, users need to press the system star button. The next process of the system will run automatically so that users have no trouble in choosing an empty parking slot. In terms of security, the system is equipped with a parking card to ensure the safety of the user's vehicle. Then if, car vehicle users will take the car then paste the parking card on the RFID reader then automatically the car that parking on the parking slot will be taken.
