Abstract
Palembang is known as the city of pempek because most local people in Palembang sell pempek. Unfortunately, the tourists might confused because there are so many pempek stores in Palembang. The purpose of this final report is to know about how to design a booklet of famous pempek stores in Palembang in order to help and give the information to the tourists about famous pempek stores in Palembang. The data of designing booklet were taken from some literature books and websites. Meanwhile, the data of famous pempek stores in Palembang were collected from the observation in famous pempek stores, interviewed the employees of pempek stores and also took some pictures for the documentation. In this final report, the writer used Research & Methodology (R&D) method modified by Sukmadinata (2015). In limited trial, the result showed that the booklet need some revisions. The experts commented that the colors of the booklet should be brighter and all of the information in the booklet should all be in English language. In wider trial, the experts accepted the booklet that has been revised based on the experts’ suggestions in limited trial. After conducting all the comments to the final product, the writer concluded that the booklet can be used for giving the information to the tourists about pempek stores in Palembang when they visit Palembang. For the reader, the writer hopes they can use this final report as one of their references in designing booklet.
