Abstract
The aim of this research is to find out the function of education and training on the development of competence of employees on BPK representatives of South Sumatra located on the roadside of Jalan Demang Lebar Daun No. 2 Palembang.The final report was made to furnish learning at disciplines administration, State polytechnic of Sriwijaya. The research was done through interview, giving questionnaire, study of library.The samples used in the study, as many as 83 respondents with snowball sampling techniques, with descriptive analysis method of qualitative and quantitative descriptive with the use of Likert scale. Results of research on the perception of good but there is no standard assessment of pencapainya based on the achievement of performance indicators the main (IKU) as well as suboptimal efforts made in improving the functioning of education and training towards the development of employee competencies at the BPK RI Representative of South Sumatra Province.Need for optimalisdasi the function of education and training towards the development of employee competencies, as well as the optimization endeavors to keep the standard assessment of competence can be achieved.
