Abstract
The final report aims to produse a booklet “The People’s Activities Along the Musi River Bank”. The booklet can be used as a guidance for tourist to know about Musi river in palembang. A development research method developed by Sukmadinata is used in this research. The problem is how to design a booklet of the activities of people along the musi river bank. The aims of writing this report is to know how to design a booklet of the activities of people along the musi river bank. The method of this report is Research and Development (R&D) depeloped by Sumadinata (2009), they are (1) Preliminary study (2) Model development (3) Final produt testing. Based on findings, the writer found the adventages this booklet that can be used to increase insight and knowlwdge to readers. The conclution is booklet can be used as a medium promote the tourism in palembang and the suggestion is the tourism and cultural department would provide a booklet of the people’s activities along the musi river bank and students of English Deparment should develop their idea, ability and skill to increase tourist to come to palembang.
