Abstract

Grouping or sorting the ball on several industrial factory plastic ball is still done manually by humans, as we know that humans have limitations in thinking, often feel bored or neglects to carry out the activity. As a result, the task processing time becomes longer so the impact on productivity of getting decreased the company. Under these conditions so that the sorting device has the ability to detect and classify balls by color differences automatically and faster, the creation of this instrument is using some component that is arduino, color sensor and servo motor. Each component has it is own function, where each component has a role at the input, process and output. Arduino Uno serves as the main system that can be programmed according to the function of tools that will be made, a color sensor in the device is used to detect the color of the ball, this device also uses two servo motor that serves as a driver of the tool is to direct the ball to be sorted automatically, as the appearance of these tools use the LCD to calculate the ball that has been sorted based on those colors.
